After several years of graduate research in Buddhism in Japan and Taiwan, Ms. Liu went to Tianjin, China to study medicine at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. There she completed both a medical degree in internal medicine and a master’s degree in ophthalmology.
Ms. Liu practiced for nine years at a Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic in Tianjin before moving to the United States, specializing in internal medicine, gynecology, and ophthalmology. She is a NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and a licensed acupuncturist in New York and New Jersey. Ms. Liu is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Japanese.
